The treatment of spinal tumors and metastases often requires surgical stabilization followed by radiation therapy.
However, metal implants compromise post-operative imaging, resulting in challenges for tumor delineation and diagnostic imaging.
Prof. Dr. Stephanie Combs and Prof. Dr. Bernhard Meyer will be presenting and discussing an interdisciplinary therapy concept and surgical considerations to facilitate optimized radiation planning and dose delivery.
The presentations will be followed by a case discussion and a Q&A session. The conference language will be English.
